Charlie has been an estate agent in the Reading area since 1996 and after a few years with a corporate agency, joined Village Properties in 2004 as a sales negotiator. Since then he has progressed through the ranks within the company, ultimately becoming the managing director & owner.
In his spare time Charlie is a keen golfer and a member of Calcot Park Golf Club. He also enjoys spending time with his family, cycling and keeping fit at his local gym.
Sarahjane has been with VP sales department for over 5 years now. She started as a part time administrator, then accepted our offer as VP's full time sales progressor since then she has excelled in that role which has lead to another promotion to Sales Director.
Sarajane is married and has 2 children who both go to Denefield School off Long Lane in Tilehurst. She also enjoys socialising with family and friends, walking her dog and holidays to Croyde in Devon.
Nikki joined Village Properties in 2011 and first started out helping out in the sales office on Saturdays. Her aptitude and willingness to learn quickly meant she was offered a role in our Lettings office. With the commitments of a young family, Nikki took on a part time role in the Lettings team, eventually going full time early 2012. Promoted to Lettings Director in March 2013, Nikki has gone from strength to strength and has been instrumental in driving the lettings division of Village Properties forward. With over 200 rental properties on the books and tenants queuing up, the lettings office is a busy place!
Outside of work Nikki most loves spending time with her 3 children.
James has been working in estate agency for 15 years and brings a wealth of experience. He started his career with a corporate company and attended high level training programs of which have helped him succeed and progress to where he is today. James has always lived in the RG31/RG30 area so his local knowledge is second to none.
On a personal level, James enjoys spending time with his family, going to he gym and watching sports.
Riccardo spent his weeks work experience with VP in 2018 and showed great promise. Because of his hardworking, enthusiastic and positive attitude the managing director Charlie Higgs offered him a trainee sales negotiator position of which he accepted. Riccardo went on from strength to strength and within 6 months passed his trainee position with ease so he's now a very confident sales negotiator and a very important member of the sales team.
In his spare time, Riccardo enjoys playing rugby and going to his local gym.
Beth joined the company in 2016 and is a fantastic addition to our lettings team. She has a fun personality, very professional and is a joy to work with. Beth's main role within the company is to show prospective tenants over our properties and look after the office administration.
Outside of work, Beth enjoys spending her time with her daughter, sewing, singing and watching movies. She's also passionate about baking/cooking and loves to host a dinner party or two.'
Donna Joined the VP sales team in the summer of 2020 and deals with the companies administration. She's very experienced in the customer service industry and that really comes across when dealing with our clients. She's naturally an outgoing and bubbly person of which makes her a pleasure to work with.
Donna really enjoys cooking and fancies herself as a bit of a top chef. She also enjoys long walks with her family and shopping.
